Important Updates

Change in EPP Reports

As of September 2011, domain percent-correct scores are being reported to EPPs instead of domain scaled scores. See how to compare current domain-correct scores to earlier scaled scores.

Texas Educator Certification Program Tests

The test list under "Resources" shows test names, test codes, test formats, test dates and important administration notes for all TExES, TExMaT and TASC/TASC-ASL tests offered. This list is updated periodically, as necessary. If you have printed and posted copies of this list, check the "Updated" date on your copy and the one on this website to make sure you have the most up-to-date information.

TEA Online System Maintenance

System maintenance is performed on the TEA online system each Sunday from 8 a.m to 12 p.m. CST. The TEA system may be temporarily unavailable during this time. This may affect your educators' ability to register for a test and/or view their profiles. If they encounter any problems, they should try again later.

Retaking a CAT Test

Test takers who want to retake a CAT test must wait 60 days before they can retake the same test via computer. If they reregister before 60 days, the registration system will only display test dates 60 days or more after the previous CAT test date.
